come to think of it the late 90s were full of important, world changing stuff. take 1996 – the year before i entered nursery.

you know the thing about look alikes? supposedly theres 5 people that look like you somewhere on this planet. you cant really expect an european person to look like you, so he/she has got to be in this part of the world, yes?

but seriously though, when i was in surabaya or OIP, there were a surprising amount of people who looked like friends/family back home. maybe it was the homesickness talking, but yeah.

i finally uploaded more stuff to my dA. yay me.
the 12mpx camera makes uploading very difficult because the resulting file size is BITCHIN HUGE.
so i normally photoshop it down to 800×600. and increase contrast while fiddling with brightness.
thats the only photo manipulation i do, honest. okay, sometimes i sharpen the macro photos.

1. discovering playgroup/nursery/kindergarten/p1 pictures.

hahah while searching high and low for the stupid velo binders for MAJALAH (thank god that one’s out of the way) i found a folder holder with a few scrapbooks.
apparently my mum used to scrapbook my pictures and stuff. im pretty sure there are a few more lying around, but i guess i’ve got all the school related ones.
managed to digitize the playgroup pictures (read: took pictures of the pictures with camera) and will try to do the kindergarten ones later tonight.

oh man i could go on and on about apple tree and how awesome it was. now i just plain miss the waffle shop at bukit timah plaza where they had dim lighting, waffles with ice cream that were awesome and this one jukebox which i never played a song but just flipped through the cds all the time.
its gone now, which sucks. the playgroup’s gone too. rent must’ve been high.

anyway, i’ve stopped using the old number/phone, so if you try to call me i wont answer at all. as opposed to having like a 50% chance of answering.

i seem to have lost the edge for writing. im trying to do a one-act hari raya theme play. it could take off, but i just need to get the dialogue right.
i find it amazing how established playwrights can write dialogue, and every line has meaning and depth.
